Organisational Change

Organisations are constantly changing, in response to changing markets, legislation, customer need and expectation, societal shift, new technologies and often organisational restructure.

Very often organisations become fixated on an end goal and perceived outcomes rather than focusing on the process of change – the behavioural change and communication required – to achieve the desired outcomes.

Organisational culture, often described colloquially as “The way we do things around here” determines employee satisfaction and performance, affects productivity and how the organisation manages the relationship with stakeholders.  Changing the organisation sometimes involves a change in the culture, and the reverse is true; a necessary change in culture requires change in behaviour and the organisation itself.

This type of change doesn’t happen on its own.

We offer strategic advice to help implement change. By understanding the issues (often by conducting necessary research with employees or customers) and working with the leadership team to agree a new strategy and desired outcomes, the required changes can be planned and implemented. Clear and timely communication with all stakeholders is key. Decisive leadership will ensure the change is followed through. Being flexible and listening to feedback is important too.

We’re here to help. Whether it’s a nudge to change established behaviour, training to reinforce new policies, or a detailed communications strategy, we’d be pleased to explore your challenges.
